Things to Do

Center Point

Enjoy all the Guadalupe River has to offer, swimming, kayaking, tubing, lounge on the floating dock, or observe the surroundings from the deck high above the river.

The Cottages are located in the center of Texas Hill Country. Explore the historic sites, shopping, antiquing, museums and parks in and around Kerrville, San Antonio, Fredericksburg, Bandera and Comfort are all easily accessible within 20 minutes to an hour. Our Treetop Cottages are located in Center Point, TX. From the cottages you are two minutes from Dollar General - a well-stocked convenience store, Los Dos Amigos - a Mexican restaurant for breakfast tacos, and Toucan Jim's - a Caribbean-themed restaurant with live music and a full bar.

For your full grocery needs, Kerrville is home of the original HEB grocery store. For everything else go to Gibson’s Discount Center - "A blast from the past. It has a little bit of everything and a lot of things that Walmart doesn't. The refrain in Kerrville is 'if Gibson's doesn't have it, it doesn't exist.' If nothing else, stop in and take a look, it's one of the last stores of its kind in the United States.” (Yelp)

Kerrville River Trail: This is a planned concept which has been discussed since the 1970's and we are proud to see it come to fruition.

The River Trail is a day use 10' wide walking and biking trail for public use, which is an integral part of the city's parks system. It is an approximate 5-mile-long trail along the Guadalupe River, with trailheads located at Kerrville-Schreiner Park, G Street, Lehmann & Monroe Park, Louise Hays Park, Riverside Nature Center, Lowry Park, and the Dietert Center.

Boat and bicycle rentals are available at Louise Hays Park and Kerrville-Schreiner Park during peak seasons.
